Meet Jerrad Dittmer
Trainer
Jerrad has a lifelong passion for gentling and starting horses, with a deep respect for correct horsemanship and solid foundations. He brings extensive hands-on experience working with Mustangs and specializes in starting and channeling rank horses into calm, willing, and dependable partners.
Through patience, feel, and clear communication, Jerrad focuses on building trust and confidence in every horse he works with. His approach emphasizes safety, consistency, and understanding—giving each horse the tools they need to succeed, whether on the ranch, the trail, or in the show pen.
As the owner and operator of JDitty’s Horsemanship, Jerrad is committed to helping horses and riders progress together by developing honest, usable horses that are prepared for real-world demands.

We help with the process of introducing a young or inexperienced horse to handling, equipment, and riding in a calm, progressive manner. It focuses on building trust, understanding, and a solid foundation through groundwork, desensitization, and the first rides—setting the horse up to be confident, safe, and successful in its future training.
